Every creative person dreams of universal housing, where they could relax and develop their skills. Designer Svetlana Kuksova, using her own apartment as an example, showed how to create such an interior for relatively little money.

Layout Svetlana designed the design of this one-room apartment for herself and her family. Initially, it was planned to design a temporary living space, which can be reorganized in the future.

Wear-resistant porcelain stoneware was laid on the floor since Svetlana’s husband works as an artist, and traces of paint will be difficult to remove from another flooring.

The kitchen is made in dark colors – this adds depth to the interior and does not attract too much attention. The refrigerator was moved to the corridor and placed in a closet so that it does not take up extra space in the room.

The living area is separated from the entrance hall by a pencil case door, which transforms into an open passage in the daytime.

Finishing We managed to save a lot on the use of natural materials in the decoration. Tabletops and window sills are made of solid pine and covered with oil stain. Economy softwood has demonstrated excellent wear resistance with good care over two years.

The wallpaper was designed by Svetlana herself: on them, the berry meadow grows smoothly and resonates with the upholstery of the chair and pouf.

Storage system Behind the curtain at the window there is a bookcase – the family likes to spend a lot of time reading literature. They decided to hide the shelves behind curtains so that there was always free access to books and at the same time the room did not seem cluttered. In addition, the lower sections of the cabinet can be used as a bedside table.

Decor Svetlana designed most of the decorative items herself: the lamps in the bathroom, the mood board at the desktop, the front door.
