“The customers bought apartments with a fine finish, so there were not very many maneuvers for planning and choosing materials,” say designers Anton Volkov and Daria Veselova from the Volves Interiors bureau. “We made several options for the living room, and in the end, we chose the most spacious one – with a large dining group near the window and, as it turned out, a very successful idea of arranging a soft zone in place of a wide window sill.”
“There were initial doubts about placing the dining area near the window, but in the end, we received extremely positive feedback on this decision, which allowed us to maintain a feeling of spaciousness in the living room.”
“They tried to look for pieces of furniture from the availability, one of the most successful finds was the Atoll sofa from B&B Italia. It is very comfortable, and, in addition, its clean and thin lines fit perfectly into the overall concept of the interior.”
“Laconic, functional, consonant with the modern architecture of the residential complex – this is how the customers, a married couple with a small child, wanted to see their interior.”
“As for the color scheme, we opted for neutral natural shades. Brass and graphic contours were used as accent details.”
“In the interiors of compact private rooms, we wanted to add textures, bring comfort and warmth, but not overload them. This is how textile wallpapers from James Hare appeared on the walls of the bedroom, and in the nursery – a more practical version from Bekaert with a jacquard texture.
“The children’s room was designed “for growth”. The bunk bed was developed by ourselves, and this is our small victory! We integrated the bed into the storage system, thus using the niche originally provided by the developer for curtains, but in fact, won more space in the room.”
