Briefly
The apartment is intended for a young family with a child of preschool age. The hostess is engaged in confectionery art, so the designers from Tou Architects studio paid great attention to designing a comfortable kitchen. Despite the big area, the apartment has only three windows, while it was necessary to create two bedrooms plus a living room with natural light – this problem was solved with the help of a translucent glass partition.
Details
The apartment was open plan. The authors of the project managed to create two living rooms with natural light, a large kitchen, a comfortable living room, as well as a spacious dressing room for storing things and sports equipment for all family members. The working space of the kitchen flows smoothly into the living room through the dining area. High ceilings are a feature of the project.
The kitchen is made to order. The main pitch of the modules is 600 mm. The hob and oven are located in the main line of the kitchen. Refrigerators and microwaves are integrated into a niche with vertical cabinets. They relied on closed storage above the working area and in a niche opposite.
In the nursery, they used an engineering board on the floor, and paint on the walls. We also designed a wall-mounted green panel with the possibility of organizing various open storage by rearranging the fasteners.
Customers decided to leave a separate bathroom and toilet. In the bathroom, everything is compact and simple: a sink with a mirror and a cabinet, a bathtub, a washing machine, and closed storage. The bathroom has a toilet and a small sink. Everything is finished in porcelain stoneware for durability and practicality.
The dressing room used simple IKEA storage systems, there was no need for custom items. In the hallway, a large closet with open and closed storage was provided – it was made to order.
