In New York, USA, for sale is a light-flooded loft with a private gazebo on the roof. It is located in Brooklyn, in the building of the former Masury & Sons Paintworks paint factory, restored by Alloy Design. The loft with an area of 161 square meters is located in a building with a 100-year history. But in the interior, there is little reminiscent of this – except for the huge factory windows framing the view of the embankment of the Dumbo district, and ceilings 3.6 meters high.
The authors of the project created a modern space in neutral colors, which fills natural light. The walls were painted in shades of beige, for the ceiling they chose the usual white. Columns and beams were painted in the same colors, visually dissolving them in the interior. On the floor in almost all rooms there is an oak board. The apartment has three bedrooms and a combined kitchen-dining-living room space, as well as two bathrooms, one of which is finished with a marble mosaic floor Haisa. Future owners have their own rooftop gazebo overlooking Winegar Hill and the Brooklyn Navy Yard, as well as a gas grill for barbecues.
