Balenciaga continues its Objects series with a variety of limited-edition home furnishings. To capture the Balenciaga Gift Shop campaign, the fashion house enlisted the skills of documentary photographer Gabriele Galimberti, who often uses his camera to create “expansive portraits of everyday oddities.”
The new collection has everything for pets, from clothing and fragrances to collectibles and bespoke furniture. Some of the novelties are reminiscent of hotel products: a teapot, plates, and various dishes created in collaboration with Ginori 1735, as well as a bath mat, linen, and towels emblazoned with the Balenciaga Hotel & Resorts logo.
The Balenciaga Objects collection also includes a range of items for companion dogs: the bowl, harness, and necklace have a personalized tag, while the leash looks like a reversible tape measure. A heart-shaped dog bed and matching blanket complete the set. Among the larger objects is a bench made from recycled materials in collaboration with Tejo Remi, a Dutch artist and designer. From November 21, 2022, some Balenciaga stores will offer personalized silver ribbon gift-wrapping services.
