Let’s start with the main question: what are moldings in the interior? This is the name of a decorative element such as a rail, which decorates walls, doors, doorways, ceilings, and even floors. Planks appeared in France during the Rococo period, and still have not lost their relevance. And in recent years, on the contrary, they can be increasingly seen in the photo of the projects of designers.
Why are they used?
- Firstly, with the help of a thin elegant rail, you can visually adjust the space: stretch and expand. For this, appropriate shapes and forms are selected. - Tree. Also quite capricious and expensive material. But he has no equal when it comes to carved planks. It is afraid of water and also needs some care.
