1. Choose a single palette for walls in walk-through spaces
When a person passes through the hallway and corridor, which are decorated in the same color palette, the interior seems harmonious and cohesive to him. The easiest way to achieve this feeling is with the help of wall decoration and the selection of large furniture – it is on them that the eye glides in the first place. You can choose one or two primary colors or change shades, for example, from beige to brown.
2. Pay attention to the view from every room
Stand in front of the exit from each room and see what you see. For example, from the open kitchen, you can see the living room and part of the corridor. This means that the colors for this entire area must be selected so that they are combined. From the living rooms you can see the corridor and the balcony – let these spaces have common shades.
3. Decide: warm or cold palette
Of course, in the interior, you can combine warm and cold shades. But if cold colors prevail in the kitchen and bathroom, and the living room and bedroom turn out to be entirely warm, then it will not work to create a feeling of unity and thoughtfulness in the apartment.
