Firmamento Milano presents a collection that is a continuation of research in the field of lighting design. Each product in it is the result of the work and reflection of the famous masters of Italian design on common values. In fact, Carlo Guglielmi, founder of the brand, strives for harmonious group work on the lessons of the past.
The collection prepared for Fuorisalone 2022 evokes memories intertwined with the study of materials and modern lighting technologies. Passeism, so characteristic of Italian design today, is combined with precise knowledge of the new possibilities of interior lighting.
The Plissé lamp, designed by Daniela Puppa, is inspired by Cinecittà and Hollywood, old movie stars with their flowing skirts. The lamp by Carlo Guglielmi is characterized by the shape of the klaxons, which were once used on gales, open wagons drawn by four horses. Palloncino, created by Franco Raggi, brings us back to childhood, evoking feelings of nostalgia and tenderness.
The object called “Twins” by Michele Reginaldi is a light sculpture consisting of two spheres, reflecting the duality of the world, which can become a synthesis of the whole. EX-TR, designed by architect Franco Raggi, uses LED technology combined with extruded glass to increase the amount of light indefinitely.
Finally, the Equilibrio table lamp, designed in 2017 by the magnificent Italian designer Michele de Lucchi, is made of blown white glass and has a shape reminiscent of De Chirico’s metaphysical heads.
