The studio presented fresh variations of the iconic Cell, Swirl, Prime, Hew, and Puls models, embodied in glass and polished stainless steel. The new items aesthetically and functionally continue the Zaha Hadid Design collection of tableware: Cell dishes embody the beauty and complexity of cellular organisms with the help of a distinctive form with holes and “textural parametricism”, which also reflects changes in nature. In the Pulse series, the dynamism of blown glass is emphasized by a visually simple, yet complex, embossed corrugated structure, while in the Hew glasses and decanters, Zaha Hadid Design sought to emphasize the harmony of expressive form and functionality. Finally, the swirling silhouette of the Swirl shallow dish resembles a frozen vortex, giving the product a dynamic character.
