Bags and shoes designed by Chinese architect Ma Yansong interpret the flowing shapes and sinuous lines that characterize the office’s designs. Among the accessories he created is the classic Fendi Peekaboo in a metallic shade with striking cuts and inserts of bright yellow lacquered aluminum. The handle of the bag is made from the same material, which, thanks to its smooth bend, fits neatly into the palm. The futuristic sneakers also feature a similar design: in addition to the grey-yellow color scheme, both products are available in a monochrome black finish. The collaboration with Fendi was Ma Yansong’s debut in the fashion world and, as he himself notes, a new embodiment of his understanding of architecture, closer to a wider audience.
