Bike manufacturer Firefly Bicycles made a custom Velo compact touring model for one of its clients. Thanks to removable parts, it fits into a classic RIMOWA suitcase: thanks to the simple installation of titanium pump housings, the user can easily detach the rear part of the frame from the front. The remaining parts of the bicycle are disassembled in a similar way until the dimensions of the entire structure become sufficiently optimal for luggage. In addition, the team used carbon fiber in the production of the model, which made it lighter. Designers also note that the improved wheel size adds agility to the bike and improves acceleration and braking.
