The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Mexican design platform Studio 84 and is located in the house of architect Pedro Ramirez Vazquez until February 11. The Milanese gallery worked on the scenography in the spaces of a modernist mansion together with the carpet brand cc-tapis. Especially for the exhibition, Nina Yashar brought to Mexico for the first time her new curatorial project Open Edition – her own collection of objects created by leading contemporary designers. Among them is a pendant lamp by Analogia Project, sconces by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt, tables by Filippo Carandini, vases by Sophie Dries, as well as a line of modular sofas, low tables and armchairs by the david/nicolas duo. In addition, the exhibition at the Mexico City Art Week 2024 festival marked the beginning of a long-term collaboration between Nilufar and Studio 84: the platform will now exclusively represent the gallery’s objects in Mexico.
