Italian luxury in the Paris-Rome fabric collection from MISIA

Palazzo Farnese is a unique monument of Late Renaissance architecture, a place that embodies the historical connection between Paris and Rome. Inspired by the intertwining of the two greatest cultures, the MISIA brand presented a collection of fabrics called Paris-Rome, and the presentation and exclusive shooting of new products for the spring-summer 2024 season took place in the magnificent palace building.

Outstanding architects and artists worked on the design and construction of the palace, which is one of the four Roman wonders: Antonio da Sangallo, Michelangelo, Jacopo Barozzi, Giacomo della Porta, Daniele da Volterra, Francesco Salviati, the Zuccari brothers. In the galleries with monumental frescoes by Agostino and Annibale Carracci and huge glass chandeliers, in the light-filled loggia behind the Tiber, around numerous antique sculptures inherited by the Farnese family, luxurious MISIA fabrics become a harmonious complement to the stunning setting.

Shimmering pillows echo the shine of golden stucco, and carefully selected armchairs, banquettes, and curtains harmonize with the colors of the legendary Carracci paintings. Luxurious velvets, silks, exclusive jacquards, amazingly detailed embroideries, Art Deco patterns embroidered with gold threads… The Paris-Rome collection explores original combinations of materials and textures. Natural linen, wool, cotton, and silk are processed using innovative technologies, thanks to which the fabrics acquire amazing tactile properties.
