The Feeling of Weightlessness: A Fantastic Installation in a Paris Museum

Recently, the exciting installation To Breathe – Constellation appeared in the center of the Paris museum: a massive rotunda was chosen for it right in the center of the museum. The concrete walls here contrast interestingly with the historical interior of the XVIII century in the classical style, frescoes, and a high ceiling made of glass.

The installation is a project by the Japanese artist Kimsuja. The author decided to play with levitation: there are mirror panels throughout the area, which reflect the original architecture of the building — guests have a feeling of weightlessness.

The main project also has an add-on — a series of video installations, thanks to which visitors will be able to dive deeper into the themes that recur in the artist’s work.

You can admire the installation until September 2, 2024.
