Birdbox is available in two versions – Midi and Mini – and is essentially an isolated cocoon bedroom, mounted on chicken legs, without a foundation for the least impact on the surrounding landscape. The compact cube has a sleek black body embedded with round windows that offer views of the landscape. The Midi cabin has space for a double bed, sink, table, and armchairs. The mini version only has a bed and one window.
Two cabins have already been placed overlooking the dramatic fjord in Fauske and in the mountains in Langeland and are available for rent from 275 Eur per night.
