In the British county of Somerset, you can stay at the famous and recently restored Futuro House, created in the 1960s. This space capsule is installed in Marston Park. It was first presented to the public in 1968. It was designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. Around the world, about 68 buildings have been preserved. One of them is on the shore of a lake deep in the Somerset countryside.
The restoration of the Futuro capsule in Marston Park is the result of a collaboration with artist Craig Barnes, who once saved and transported this iconic piece of pop architecture to England from South Africa. The house is designed to withstand winter conditions and serve as a ski lodge at the same time. Accommodation here costs from 400 to 1200 GBP per night for two adults.

Futuro House has every comfort – a private outdoor space with a fire pit, bathroom with shower, studio speakers, linens and towels, tea/coffee making facilities. The capsule can accommodate up to 4 people.
