The concept of “3-in-1” – manual mode, sweeping and mopping the floor – is not yet very common among upright vacuum cleaners. But it’s convenient: instead of two or three devices, buy, store, and maintain one.
We found all three configurations in the Jimmy HW10 Pro and, of course, immediately started testing it.

Equipment
The Jimmy HW10 Pro vacuum cleaner is packaged in a large cardboard box with a plastic handle for easy carrying. On the front side, the manufacturer has placed a color photo of the device in a shining clean interior, and next to it has listed the main advantages of the model. These include the ability to detach a handheld vacuum cleaner for cleaning furniture, a replaceable hard carpet brush, cleaning with simultaneous suction and washing, quick drying of surfaces after wet cleaning, and a self-cleaning rotor function.
When we opened the box, we found:

At first glance
The body of the vacuum cleaner is made of dark gray and silver plastic and finished with decorative inserts “imitating rose gold”. To some, these decorations may probably seem like a sign of status, but, in our opinion, the “golden” inserts will somewhat forgive the strict and otherwise elegant appearance of the device. However, this is a matter of taste.
The Jimmy HW10 engine unit has a longitudinal scheme: a cylindrical cyclone filter is located on the same axis as the air path. Behind the dustbin is the engine with exhaust grilles, and at the rear there is a removable battery.
The air blown out of the engine unit leaves it through the grilles on the right and left: thanks to this solution, the flow does not scatter uncollected dust from the work area and does not disturb the user.
In the upper part of the case there is a D-shaped handle with two control buttons on it. The third adjusts the latch that holds the garbage container, and the fourth, closer to the front end, opens the dust container: you can shake it out without removing it from the body and without getting your hands dirty.
The removable cylindrical battery is an assembly of seven standard 18650 batteries. The manufacturer notes that, if necessary, it can be repackaged, replacing failed elements. At the same time, there is no need to replace the entire unit – thanks to good maintainability, the device will last longer.
A stream of air with dust and dry debris enters the cyclone filter, swirling around the central element. Heavy particles thrown by the plastic “skirt” remain in the lower part of the container, and small debris is retained by a steel grid with fine perforations.
Dust that has passed through the grille remains on the HEPA filter, which is protected by a black foam disc.
For handheld vacuuming, the Jimmy HW10 comes with three attachments: a motor brush for upholstered furniture and two simple ones.
The motor brush has a simple traditional design. An integrated motor rotates the rotor with three rows of bristle elements that are arranged at a slight angle to the axis. Between them are three silicone lamellas. The brush is devoid of a hinge and is rigidly attached to the motor unit.
For cleaning and maintenance, the rotor can be removed by turning the round plug on the right end of the nozzle.
Two 2-in-1 nozzles with sliding brushes – one wide and one narrow – also help with manual cleaning. We did not notice any engineering innovations in their design – these are standard accessories that are equipped with many models from different manufacturers.
The extension tube has a dual purpose: it not only helps in cleaning the floor, but also allows, if you install a brush nozzle at one of the ends, to reach hard-to-reach places and remove debris from eaves and cabinets.
For use in this configuration, there is a retractable tube at one end that is inserted into the motor unit. The explanatory picture next to it illustrates the correct installation of the accessory.
For wet and dry floor cleaning, an extension tube is inserted into the body of the respective fixture.
It consists of a vertical body on which a dirty water tank is mounted and a motor brush.
Unlike the vast majority of washing vacuum cleaners, the clean water tank of the Jimmy HW10 is not placed on the body, but directly on the motorized brush.
The flat tank is made of transparent grey plastic. On its top panel, you can see a hole for pouring water, which is closed with a rubber stopper. In the lower part, there is a spring-loaded valve that controls the water supply to the brush.
A soft velour roller is designed directly for mopping the floor, which is installed in the front part of the nozzle. The device also includes a rotor for dry cleaning with stiff bristles and double slats arranged in a spiral.
The rotor is closed with a transparent cover, which makes it easy to control its rotation.
The flow of water and dirt washed off the brush rises through a transparent tube into a tank made of transparent plastic.
At the top of the tank there is a perforated separator, on which large fragments of debris remain. The bottom one collects dirty liquid that can be poured down the drain.
The tank lid is equipped with two contacts to ensure the operation of the overflow sensor.
The air flow coming out of the container passes through a filter consisting of a frequent nylon mesh on the hinged frame, and a square protective element made of black foam rubber.
The motor unit is mounted on the nozzle body from above and fixed with a latch.
A base station made of black plastic is designed for servicing and charging the device. There is a recess at the front of the flat tray in which the floor brush rotor is washed during the self-cleaning process. Inside the case, there is a fan for drying the brush. Air is supplied to it within a few hours after rinsing – this excludes the appearance of unpleasant odors and prevents the reproduction of harmful microflora on the velour element.
Removable accessory stands are attached to the right and left of the base station. One of them is designed for a replaceable rotor and brush for caring for the nozzle, the second can be used to place a charger or a bottle of detergent.
The vacuum cleaner comes with a thin cylindrical brush to make it easy to clean the dirty water tank. The diameter of the brush corresponds to the size of the inner shaft of the tank.
The device comes with a 0.48-liter bottle of branded floor cleaner
Instruction
The User’s Manual is a thick (104 pages) brochure in eight languages. It is printed on thick white paper, and the quality of the printing is excellent.
Each part of the language occupies approx. 16 pages with many illustrations. They describe in detail the design of the Jimmy HW10 Pro, its assembly, preparation for operation, operation of the device, and its operation. The document advises on how to care for a vacuum cleaner, and contains a list of possible malfunctions with methods for eliminating them yourself.
The brochure also contains a schematic diagram of the device, which is very rare for modern household appliances.
Management
The vacuum cleaner is operated by two buttons on the handle of the motor unit. The first turns it on and off, the second serves to switch the power.
When operating in manual mode, the Jimmy HW10 Pro has two power levels: standard and maximum. And in the configuration for floor cleaning, there are four: automatic, in which the power is selected depending on the degree of dirtiness of the floor, “Floor”, designed for smooth coatings, “Carpet” for carpets and the maximum “Max”.
On the flat part of the motor unit knob facing the user, there is a small color LCD screen. When working, information about the selected power level appears on it: an animated picture and the name of the mode.
In the upper right corner of the screen, if you look closely, you can see a tiny (no more than 30 pixels) battery level indicator. It cannot be called informative in any way: the three-position scale on the “battery” approximately displays the low, medium, and maximum level of charge, but it is difficult to see the indication (white on a light blue background) even with good eyesight. It would be much more convenient to display the battery life with traditional LEDs.
A small button above the screen turns on and off the voice prompts that accompany floor cleaning.
Two buttons on the extension knob duplicate similar elements of the motor unit. The third one controls the water supply during wet cleaning.
Exploitation
The vacuum cleaner should be unpacked and reassembled before use. This process does not cause the slightest difficulties and is intuitive. To be on the safe side, the guide describes each stage in detail, meticulously mentioning every click of the latches.
The base station also needs to be assembled from two parts – vertical and horizontal. Accessory holders should be installed on the sides. The included power adapter attaches to the back of the base. When choosing a location for the station, it is necessary to provide a connection to a socket.
The device must be fully charged before it can be turned on. A full cycle takes a little more than three hours, but the first charge, as with any battery device, can take longer than usual. We just left the appliance plugged in overnight and started cleaning the next morning.
In manual mode, the vacuum cleaner did not bring us any surprises: it fits comfortably in the hand, is easy to operate, and effectively removes dust from clothes and furniture.
The included motor brush makes it easy to clean upholstered furniture – it easily removes dust and pet hair. The only thing that is slightly disappointing is the absence of the usual hinge at the junction of the brush and the air path: the mobility of the structure leaves much to be desired.
But the main function of the Jimmy HW10 is, of course, sweeping and mopping floors.
In the floor configuration, this model can be used for both dry and wet cleaning. Its weight is slightly higher than that of traditional vertical devices without a washing function, but this does not cause discomfort during use: the device is well-balanced, and the main weight falls on the soft wheels at the base of the floor nozzle.
The latter has a parking position: during pauses in cleaning, the device can be placed vertically, without leaning against walls and pieces of furniture. When parking, the vacuum cleaner increases the power to maximum power for a couple of seconds to clear the air path, and then shuts down. When it returns to the working position, it automatically resumes operation.
The Jimmy HW10 has only a manual water supply during wet cleaning: the vacuum cleaner turns it on when you press a button on the handle of the extension tube. Unlike most cleaning vacuums we are familiar with, the liquid does not flow to the rotating brush, but to the nozzle on the front of the nozzle.
Water is sprayed in a fan, moistening the working area in front of the vacuum cleaner. After that, the liquid is collected by a rotating velour brush and enters the water filter together with dust and debris. This scheme is probably more convenient than traditional brush wetting: the user can see the areas that need more intensive moistening and have better control over the process.
A significant part of the debris remains inside the separator basket during wet cleaning. Solid dirt can be shaken out into the trash can, and the liquid accumulated at the bottom can be drained down the drain.
A noticeable part of the debris remains on the washable filter: when cleaning the container, you must not forget this element as well.
It is undesirable to start cleaning with an empty water filter, dry: debris passes the main tank almost unhindered and can accumulate under the lid. Even if only dry sweeping is planned, it is advisable to leave some liquid in the tank.
Wet debris is easily shaken out of the tank into the trash can without clogging the drain.
The volumes of tanks for clean and dirty liquids are the same for this model. By placing the fresh water tank on a dry device, you do not need to monitor the flow rate until the water filter is full. When the container is full, a sensor will be triggered to signal the need to drain the dirty liquid; At the same time, it makes sense to fill the bottom container with clean water.
The vacuum cleaner informs the user about all malfunctions by means of voice messages, duplicating the information on the screen. Test warnings on it are replaced by animated explanatory pictures, which, unfortunately, are not always easy to make out due to the small size and low resolution of the display.
As already mentioned, the implementation of the charge level indicator seems to us to be the least informative: it is difficult to see the tiny battery symbol in the corner of the screen during operation.
After the wet cleaning is completed, the device needs to be installed on the base, drain the dirty water from the tank, fill the lower tank with clean water and start the self-cleaning mode with the button on the handle. For a couple of minutes, the vacuum cleaner rinses the brush, periodically increasing the power to the maximum to clean the air path, and then reminds you to pour out the dirty water again and replenish the supply with clean water.
Once the self-cleaning is complete, the vacuum cleaner turns on the base station fan, which dries the brush for a couple of hours. Automatic drying prevents the development of odour-causing bacteria on the rotor surface.
Care
The dirty water tank should be cleaned after each cleaning: the vacuum cleaner itself reminds you of this need.
The dry garbage bin should be shaken out as it fills up. Thanks to the hinged lid, you can do this without the risk of getting your hands dirty.
The roller brush should be regularly inspected for threads, pet hair and hair wrapped around the rotor, and removed if necessary.
The manufacturer reminds that during long breaks in use, it is necessary to empty the clean water tank and both garbage containers and clean the device thoroughly.
Findings
The Jimmy HW10 Pro combines one handheld vacuum cleaner and two vertical vacuum cleaners for dry and wet floor cleaning. It is easily transformable and equally convenient in all three hypostases.
The 3-in-1 concept is still new to the vacuum cleaner market: until now, only one such appliance has come into our field of vision, manufactured by Redmond. But we are sure that we will encounter such devices more than once: the design seems quite viable to us. We believe that using one device instead of two or three will be convenient for many.
The Jimmy HW10 Pro does a good job of sweeping and washing, is easy to maintain, and has ample battery life in all three configurations. The disadvantages of the device include a rather high noise level, not very informative LCD display and the heavy weight of the device equipped for wet cleaning.
Pros:
- All-in-one for dry cleaning, mopping and manual tidying
- Ingenious and efficient water supply system
- User-friendly controls
- Automatic power control in wet mopping mode
Cons:
- High noise level at maximum power
- A heavy weight of the floor cleaning nozzle
