Based on the results of the open call, the authors of the best applications will be able to show their project at the 18th International Design Festival Design Parade, which will be held in Toulon and Hyères from June 27 to 30, 2024. Through the competition, the team at the Villa Noailles Art Center, where the event takes place, strives to support young designers from all over the world: for example, many Design Parade participants today are leading representatives of the industry. The exhibition in Hyères is focused on product design, and in Toulon – on interior design and decoration, so competitors can submit applications in each of the two directions. Thus, in the first segment, the expert jury will give preference to original projects that have not been exhibited before and take into account the environmental agenda. Those who want to try their hand at the second section are invited to create the design of living space in a Mediterranean house: the interior concept will be implemented during the festival. Among the prizes that the winners of the Design Parade competition will receive are a residence at the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory, a residence at the International Center for Glass and Plastic (CIRVA) in Marseille, and a grant of several thousand euros.
