The customer wanted to place a separate bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room in a small area, organize a place for reading, and provide places for various things dear to the heart, brought from various trips. To realize this, all the walls were built anew.
Black House – Toronto
Black Houseis a new home located on a desirable lot that extends to a lush, sloping ravine at the rear yard. The monolithic form of the sculptural steel staircase is visually expressed at all three levels of the house. Large expanses of glass extend along the entire rear façade, providing spectacular views and direct access to the ravine beyond.
