“This interior speaks to respect for history and subtle and open touch. In the apartment in the old yeast and distillery building, the solutions were coded by the existing brick walls, concrete floors, and industrial environment. We didn’t want to hide anything, so the new details that emerged were bright enough. These are copper electrical pipes, a chandelier or a glossy kitchen island countertop. And one of the most successful solutions is the inserts of frosted glass walls between the bedroom and the bathroom. This allows daylight to enter a small enclosed space.” – Project authors
